When laptops overall heat, it can damage the laptop's hardware, the desk or become unpleasantly warm while you are holding the laptop on your lap.
A cooling pad is a hardware accessory for a laptop, designed to reduce laptop from overheating, and to keep a laptop cooler.

There are two types of cooling pads (active and passive) in the market. Active cooling pads are using fans and passive are not. Passive cooling pad do not use fans are constructed of plastic, aluminum or special heat-dissipating materials.
