Why body-worn camera becomes popular?

The shooting of Michael Brown by a police officer in USA brings a discussion of Police body-worn camera.

The Body-worn cameras are small camera, usually attached to the head or upper body of a police officer.

The main function of Police camera is to record their actions, collect evidence and help cop’s to determine whether a crime occurred, and decrease Police’s work load.
